Just think happy thoughts.

Slightly inspired by our dear William Beckett's most recent blog entry. He asked us to post a verse of lyrcs that really mean something to us. One of those songs that you listen to and you just FEEL it in the very core and fiber of your being. So, I decided to blog mine since nobody is going to look at it amongst the hundreds of comments he gets.

Originally, I was going to either go with a verse from Sugar Skulls by Envy on the Coast, then a verse from Lullaby by Jack's Mannequin, and then finally a verse from Trolleywood by Eisley. I eventually ended up on this one though, since it's helped me through MANY hard times:

The red ones make me fly,
The blue ones help me fall -
And I think I'll blow my brains against the ceiling.
Now as the fragments of my skull begin to fall,
Fall on your tongue like pixie dust -
Just think happy thoughts,
And we'll fly home.

Headfirst for Halos, My Chemical Romance.

Yeah, I know. Don't go there. MCR isn't indie or any of that, and this is a song probably everyone hates but oh God I can't help it. Just think happy thoughts. There are many times I've been a mess of broken and bloody limbs and that thought has crossed my mind. Just think happy thoughts, and we'll fly home. Just think happy thoughts and everything will be okay, always. Nothing is as bad as it seems.

If that makes sense?

Now that I've shared mine, you should tell me yours.
