Tonight is the night I fall for you.

More, more, more. The effort is pulled from my chest and I watch pathetically as I watch it fall in shambles around us. Our empire of dirt. To build things from dirt you need other materials and I’m afraid we’ve been given none but the soil beneath our bare toes. Wander through the woods, try to find your way out. The trees will block out the sun until you’re sure you’re wandering in circles, screaming aimlessly: HELLO, CAN YOU HELP ME?
We find our way back to the city. Made of metal and cold steal we’re soon separated. The concrete beneath our feet no longer offers the comfort of the warm soil in which we dug our toes into and clung on to for our dear lives. I bend my toes and you bend yours. We look up at each other and I suppose the decision is unanimous:

This is where it ends.
